St Cedd Catholic Church is deeply committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all those
entrusted to our care, especially the most vulnerable among us. The Church’s mission is to bring the
light of Christ to the world, and we must be vigilant in protecting those who are at risk of harm.
St Cedd Catholic Church follows and conforms to the national standards for safeguarding in the
Catholic Church which are set out by the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA).

All volunteers working with vulnerable children or vulnerable adults will be required to complete a
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and will be encouraged to complete on-line training.
On-line training is offered free to all Parish volunteers and parishioners by clicking on the following

then be directed to Level 1, 2 or 3 to complete the course applicable to you.
